citizens of Bosque County for decades. Such longevity
and success can be attributed to the founders of
Meridian Abstract & Title; they paved the way for
generations to come. Men such as C.K. "Charlie" Word,
Sr., J.P. Word, C.K. "Chock" Word, Jr., and now Cole
Word, not to mention with the help of JoAnn Word and
Sonja Word, have established Meridian Abstract & Title
Company not only as an established business, but also
as a permanent fixture in Bosque County.

The Word family has a vested interest in Bosque
County and the State of Texas; no fewer than
FIVE past Bosque County Judges, a State
Representative in the House and a Senator, have
come from the Word family. Currently, Cole Word is
serving as Bosque County Judge.
