customer or Refinance request
received from lender
2. Meridian Abstract & Title Company
("MATCO") Guaranty File set up
3. Title Examination performed by MA
TCO
4. Title Commitment Prepared by MATCO
5. Payoff (current lien) to be ordered by MATCO
6. Survey ordered and prepared
(ordered by customer or MATCO) if required
7. Pest Inspection (if required), ordered by customer or MATCO
8. Appraisal (if required), usually ordered by lender
9. Septic Inspection (if required), usually ordered by realtor or lender
10. Closing Instructions received from lender - cannot schedule closing
date without this information!
11. Hazard/Homeowner's Insurance proof of coverage received
12. Closing - sign documents and exchange funds
13. Documents recorded at County Clerk's office
14. Title Insurance Policy issued!
